    How it works

    ToolNest validates the input, processes it with server-side document tools, and returns a downloadable file. Temporary files are not indexed and are cleaned up after use.

    Limitations

    • Maximum 15 MB per file
    • Up to 100 pages per PDF job
    • Password-protected or corrupted files may fail
    • PDF→Word and text extraction work best on digital PDFs; scanned pages need OCR
    • OCR accuracy depends on image/scan quality and available server engines
    • Complex Word/Excel layouts may not convert perfectly
